Semi Permanent Makeup

Micropigmentation (also known as semi-permanent makeup) is a form of temporary cosmetic tattooing, giving your desired shape and colour to your eyebrows, eyeliner and lips.

important information

Immediately after treatment:

Your eyebrows (treated area) will be darker than expected - this is absolutely normal.

Expect this to fade and can take up to 4-6 weeks for the colour to come through.

The colour may also seem to disappear, and this is temporary, and normal, as the skin heals.

There may be some discomfort around the treated area which can be managed with painkillers + ice packs.

Aftercare:

DO - clean the area with a damp cotton wool pad every few hours, and then apply the advised cream (thinly) - for the first 24 hours

DO - apply the advised cream a few times a day, thinly - for the first 3-4 days

​

Expected symptoms, which can last 2-14 days following treatment - this is normal:

- Flaking

- Tenderness

- Dryness and itching

- Swelling

- Redness

DO NOT - remove any scabs 

DO NOT- use soaps on the treated area for 7-10 days

DO NOT- swim in chlorinated water for 7-10 days

DO NOT- use Retin-A on the treated area for 7-10 days

DO NOT - use makeup on the treated area for 5 days

DO NOT - allow sun exposure of the treated area for 5 days

DO NOT - use jacuzzi or sauna for 5 days

Long Term Care

- There is very little maintenance required

- They should last 1-3 years with an yearly top-up to maintain the shape and colour
